Who Are We?

The Pennsylvania Veterans Assistance Fund (PVAF) is a nonprofit tax exempt 501(c)3 tax ID 23-2823932. PVAF is a participant in the Combined Federal Campaign Code 99987.

Our organization provides a variety of services and financial aid to Veterans and their families in crisis and need. We also have programs for homeless, hospitalized and incarcerated veterans. We provide funds for education and research purposes as well as scholarships in addition to our many other projects.

It is important to note that we are a 100 percent volunteer organizations. We have no paid officers or staff. We have no hard assets and each member provides their own technology equipment and office. The only overhead we presently have is our web domain, maintaining the website through our web hosting service and postage.

In addition to donations, we are always looking for associate members as well as qualified board members. As a 501(c)3, PVAF is made up of civilians as well as veterans.

Please visit our member site for information regarding our current officers, board and contacts.

On our forms site you will find applications for membership as well as grant applications.

Our most important site is our donation site. We can accept donations through Pay Pal, by credit card or by check mailed to our treasurer and made payable to either the Pennsylvania Veterans Assistance Fund.

Our organization meets twice each year in State College PA.. Dates vary but we meet once in June and once in either October or November. Check our Calendar of Events on the site for information. The calendar will be posted soon and updated as necessary.
